"Magdalena" a powerful female image comes from an engraved bone fragment found in Dordogne in the South of France. The gate was named after the period in which the bone fragment was made, the Late Magdalenian period (10,000BC). Falling water and a design from the same era complete the gate.

The Gates and Screen Doors are torch cut and welded from steel. A frame is welded on for stability and hardware installed. The finish is either  weather resistant fiberglass paint or copper coat with a clear finish. The Gates can be used as gates or as free standing objects d’art in or out of doors.  The screen doors come with a screen which can be removed as needed.

Rich in symbolism "Minoan Gate" is based on a design found on a Cretan sarcophagus from the Late Minoan period. The top central portion represents the Snake Goddess, a symbol of Life energy. The checkerboard pattern, an ancient symbol of water, originated in the Paleolithic period. Centuries ago all life was thought to come from water.
